Research

The Financial Services Department has seven (7) key staff and other supporting personnel whose responsibilities are the faculty, students, staff, and the general university community.

Out functions include the following:

  1. Completeness of records of income, expenditure, assets, and obligations
  2. Maintenance of students accounts, showing the financial status of each student at any point in time
  3. Providing a basis for audit functions for internal and external audit purposes
  4. The department must minimize waste in all areas
  5. Handling of relationships with external bodies as they relate to financial matters. Examples are the FBIRS, OGBIR, NSITF, NHF, etc.
  6. Managing the consultancy services units ensures that they perform at the optimal level and improve capacity utilization.
  7. Finally, ensure the operations in and around the Canaan Land are clean, safe, and remain attractive to all.
